As a veteran teacher, my advice for new teachers is simple: prioritize teaching over everything else, don't overwhelm yourself with extra activities, and understand that mistakes are inevitable. Focus on creating a welcoming classroom, make time for self-care, find a mentor, avoid workplace drama, and prioritize documentation. Remember, teaching is tough but ultimately rewarding.
